If you already have ecologists on site and simply need a thermal drone to cover high‑level features or complex buildings, we can provide dedicated drone surveyors to support your work.

A thermal drone can typically replace around four traditional ground vantage points. In many cases it may cover even more, but a scoping survey is needed to confirm this.

​

Your team leads the survey — we handle the drone operations and deliver you reviewed footage and results. We supply:

​

• A free desk study to advise as to likely constraints 

• A qualified thermal‑drone pilot (CAA authorised) and all equipment

• A second surveyor for safety

• Additional bat detectors to support wider survey effort (Batlogger M2 X 4)

This option is ideal during busy months when staff capacity is stretched or when a building cannot be fully assessed from ground level alone.

Standard cost (Based on sites within 30 miles of B45 postcode):

​

• £800 per survey, additional surveyors £200

​

If you'd prefer us to take over the entire emergence survey component, we can plan and carry out all required drone and ground‑based emergence surveys for you.

You manage the PRA and reporting — we deliver:

​

• Free desk study to advise as to likely constraints 

• Survey design (site visit and specification of survey locations and surveyor numbers by a licenced bat ecologist):

This gives you access to our advanced aerial survey techniques, without you ever needing to leave the ground.

• Bat emergence survey report (if all surveys are provided by fourleaf): £250
